Helping Children Feel Safe, Understood & Supported

Childhood is a time of rapid growth, learning and discovery but it can also come with feelings and challenges that children don’t always have the words to express.

At Breland Counselling, we believe every child deserves a space where they can feel safe, seen and supported. Through play, creativity and gentle exploration, children learn to understand their emotions, build confidence and develop coping skills that help them thrive at home, school and in relationships.

Erin Ruel specializes in working with children 5+ and Chelsey Ivanochko specializes in working with children aged 0+. They each  provide a caring, open-minded and non-judgmental environment where your child is supported to grow and thrive.

Parent/Caregiver Intake: Before beginning counselling, parents and caregivers are invited to meet with Erin or Chelsey to share insights into their child’s history, strengths, and needs. This collaborative process helps set shared goals and ensures the child’s counselling experience is supported both in session and at home.
